About Restore Physical Therapy
At Restore, we work with you to create an individualized plan for not only your physical concerns but also for your overall health and wellness.
Restore was founded out of frustration with the traditional medical model, particularly the model of physical therapy, where you see multiple providers and are passed off to an aide to do routine exercises. The Restore approach is physical therapy the way it should be. Your entire session will be spent with one licensed therapist and you will typically see the same provider each time. This allows us to truly optimize your wellness, get to know your complex needs and goals, and ensure you are progressing toward those goals every session.
Our mission is to provide expert care to address your body’s imbalances so that you can live the life you choose free from physical dysfunction. We do this by taking a holistic and comprehensive approach. Starting at your initial evaluation, we look at how your whole body moves and functions and work with you to fully understand your goals so you can feel empowered to do more than you ever thought possible.
We offer private treatment rooms to allow you a safe space to heal and discuss your needs and concerns without worrying if you’ll be overheard. When appropriate and agreed upon, we have a small, comfortable, and non-crowded space for movement and exercise.
About Dr. Kelli Daniels, PT, DPT
Vestibular, Balance & Pelvic Health Physical Therapist | Owner of Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy – Dothan, Alabama
Hello! I’m Dr. Kelli Daniels, owner and physical therapist at Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy in Dothan, Alabama. I have been married to my husband, Robbie, for 26 years. We have three wonderful children—each working in healthcare—and one amazing grandson who was born in 2023.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing and leading praise and worship, crocheting, crafting, completing puzzles, organizing, and continually learning. One of the greatest joys in my life is helping people smile again and improve their quality of life.
My Journey into Physical Therapy
My journey into physical therapy began in 1990 when I helped my grandmother perform her rehabilitation exercises after she suffered a stroke. During that time, I felt a strong calling that helping people regain their independence and quality of life was the path God had planned for me.
In 1999, I graduated from Wallace College as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Over the next two decades, I worked in a variety of physical therapy settings treating orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, dizziness and balance disorders, pelvic health conditions, and chronic pain.
Once my children were grown and beginning their own careers, I returned to school to further my education and later graduated from South College with my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
I later joined Dr. Jessica Munk, PT, DPT, at Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, where we worked together to grow the clinic into a practice focused on one-on-one, patient-centered care. In 2025, Dr. Munk relocated to Alaska, and I purchased the practice, becoming the sole owner of Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.
Restore was built on the belief that patients deserve individualized care and the time needed to truly understand the root cause of their symptoms. In many larger healthcare systems, therapists must treat multiple patients at once, which limits the ability to provide focused care.
At Restore, every patient receives one-on-one physical therapy treatment, allowing us to create personalized treatment plans designed specifically for their needs.
I consider my work not just a profession, but a ministry—an opportunity to serve others and help restore their health, mobility, and confidence.
Vestibular & Balance Therapy (My First Passion)
My first love in physical therapy is vestibular rehabilitation, which focuses on treating dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders related to the inner ear and nervous system.
I have been treating vestibular and balance disorders since 2003 and have helped many patients recover from conditions such as:
Vertigo (including BPPV)
Chronic dizziness
Balance problems and fall risk
Post-concussion dizziness
Motion sensitivity
Vestibular migraines
Persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD)
I earned my first vestibular certification in 2009 and completed an additional advanced vestibular certification in 2021. Helping patients regain their balance, confidence, and ability to move comfortably again is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
In addition to vestibular therapy, I am passionate about pelvic health physical therapy, which helps address conditions affecting the pelvic floor muscles and core stability.
Pelvic floor dysfunction can impact both women and men and may lead to symptoms that affect daily life.
At Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy in Dothan, I work with patients experiencing:
Pelvic pain
Urinary leakage or urgency
Postpartum recovery needs
Core and pelvic floor weakness
Chronic low back or hip pain related to pelvic dysfunction
Pain with movement or activity
I have completed Level I and Level II Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy training and continue to pursue advanced education in pelvic health rehabilitation.
Dry Needling & Advanced Treatment Techniques
I am also certified in Dynamic Integrative Dry Needling, which can be used to help relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve movement.
Dry needling can be beneficial for conditions such as:
Chronic muscle tightness
Trigger points
Neck and back pain
Pelvic pain
Headaches
Sports injuries
At Restore, dry needling is often combined with manual therapy, corrective exercise, vestibular rehabilitation, and neuromuscular retraining to provide a comprehensive approach to recovery.
Helping You Restore Your Quality of Life
At Restore Pelvic Health Physical Therapy in Dothan, my goal is simple: to provide compassionate, individualized care that helps people move better, feel better, and regain confidence in their daily lives.
If you are experiencing dizziness, vertigo, balance problems, pelvic health concerns, pain, or mobility limitations, I would love to help guide you on your journey toward restoring your health and improving your quality of life.
Makayla Palmer, PT, DPT
I fell in love with the physical therapy profession after a shoulder injury in my tenth grade year threatened my softball career. I loved the idea of helping others return back to the activities that they truly cared about and wanted to play a small role in improving others quality of life. My collegiate softball career at the University of Mobile only further emphasized the love I had for exercise and the way the Lord so intricately designed the human body. I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina and have been blessed to work with a variety of patient populations, specializing in orthopedics and geriatrics. I am trained in functional dry needling through the Integrative Dry Needling Institute and have taken multiple courses on promoting fitness-forward care in the geriatric population. It brings me great joy when individuals succeed at tasks that they felt could not be possible prior to beginning physical therapy, and I am so thankful to be a part of a profession that gets to walk hand-in-hand with individuals as they overcome various challenges in their health journey! One thing that I continued to notice when working with my older adults was the prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction and the significant need that these individuals had for this area of PT. After having my little boy in 2023, I decided to pursue my certification in pelvic floor therapy so that I could provide a more holistic approach when treating patients of all ages. I recently completed my Level 1 Pelvic Floor Certification through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute with plans to complete Level 2 in the near future.
I absolutely love being a Physical Therapist, but my favorite titles are Wife and Mom. I am married to my husband, Payne, whom I met while attending the University of Mobile. In 2023 we welcomed our son Noah and have been smitten with him every day since. We also have a sweet fur baby named Ryder that we adore. I have always prioritized exercise and fitness! I love to run and participate in CrossFit, but I also have recently found a love for Pilates. You can find my family and I doing all things outdoors and scouting out the best local eats at each new destination we visit!
I am so thankful that the Lord has given me the opportunity to do something that I truly enjoy each day! I hope you will give me the opportunity to learn more about you and allow me to help you along your health journey!

Jessica Davis, LPTA
Hi, I’m Jessica! I’ve been a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2007. I discovered physical therapy after blowing out my knee in high school and having it surgically repaired, I knew this was the field for me while in the middle of my first PT visit. I have worked in various settings throughout my career, but out patient is truly my favorite because of the relationships I get to build with my patients.
I believe salt water and vitamin sea can cure almost anything. I believe every house needs a dog or two to make it feel like home. I believe in dancing in the kitchen while you cook. I believe in treating my patients as a whole versus just the sum of their injuries. I believe that movement is medicine. I believe that everyone can find some kind of movement that brings them joy and they should perform it often. If that joy happens to come from dancing in a beachfront kitchen with your dog, even better.
When I’m not at work, you can find me with my daughter, my husband and our dogs. I love chicken wings, long books, good whiskey, travel stories and being near large bodies of water.
Nobody comes to physical therapy because they’re having a great day, right? I usually only meet people in my professional setting because something has gone wrong somewhere, something is hurting or in dysfunction or some aspect is missing from their daily lives. I absolutely adore the fact that I get to help people right those wrongs. I get to experience their journey, their path back to wellness, and watch patients get back that piece they’ve lost. I encourage anyone reading this to reach out and see how physical therapy can help *restore* your quality of life. Don’t settle for a life half lived!
Belle Hildreth, PT, DPT
Hello, my name is Isabella and I am a recent graduate of the University of South Alabama’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program (Class of 2025), and I also earned my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2022—go Jags! I grew up in the Dothan area and went to Ashford High School , so I am excited to be serving the community that feels like home.
I’ve always been drawn to physical therapy because it allows me to help people in a really meaningful way—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. One of my favorite parts of this profession is watching the transformation that happens from a patient’s first visit to their last. It’s incredible what can happen when someone puts their mind (and body) to the challenge, and I love being a part of that journey!
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active —whether that’s going for a walk at a trail around Dothan or spending time at the gym. I’m also a big sports fan (Roll Tide!), and I love reading, going to church, baking, learning how to crochet, and spending time with my two orange cats, Louie and Theo. I also enjoy hanging out with my family and friends whenever I am able — they’re a big part of my life and support system!
I’m looking forward to getting to know you and helping you reach your goals one step at a time!
Susie Walthaus, PT, MS
Hi, I'm Susie. I originally graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS degree in Dance Education and from Florida State University with a Masters degree in Movement Science and Physical Education. Additionally, I studied Pilates in New York City at one of the two original Pilates Studios in the country. I spent 20 years teaching ballet, modern dance, and exercise/fitness classes at a community college in Georgia and in my own studio.
In 1991, I traveled to the former Soviet union with a group sponsored by Nike and presented lectures on injury prevention to athletes and dancers. I also did numerous presentations at Fitness Professionals conferences in the US and published articles for a fitness magazine.
At age 40, I decided to return to school and earned my Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia. I have practiced PT in outpatient, inpatient rehab, nursing home, and home health settings. Several years ago, I became interested in pelvic health and attended specialty training in the field and this has been my major focus for the past seven years .
I've been married 28 years to my Dutch husband, Peter. I am a mother to two children and a grandmother to three. My hobbies include piano lessons, traveling the world, ballroom, dance, genealogy, and attending multiple types of exercise classes each week.
I love people and I cannot wait to meet you!

I am set to graduate in August of 2026. I enjoy traveling and singing in my church choir. Many ask why do I enjoy the stressful world of the medical office? After years of not having an answer, I can say that I have a passion for helping others with the non-clinical aspect of their treatment, while providing support to the clinicians.
